The most common procedures include complicated and surgical tooth extraction, apicotomy of the tooth root, cystectomy, artificial bone implantation, and sinus lift.

Wisdom tooth extraction most often requires surgical extraction, especially if they are impacted or semi-impacted. 

Sometimes, despite very careful work, a fracture of the crown or root of the tooth can occur. The most common reasons are a highly carious tooth crown, compact bone structure, anomalies in the number and shape of the tooth roots, poor choice of pliers, too fast extraction and incorrect extraction technique. 

Apicotomy of the tooth root is a surgical approach to a periapical lesion, during which the lesion is removed in its entirety, the apex of the tooth root is recessed, and the root canal is obturated. It is most often used when, despite adequate endodontic treatment, there is an active periapical lesion, when there is no possibility of endodontic therapy, when there is a large lesion that has destroyed the bone, when there is a fracture of the apical third of the root, and when a neoontogenic lesion is suspected.

Cystectomy is an oral surgical procedure to remove a cyst on a tooth. The goal of this intervention is to completely remove the cystic sac and create conditions for morphological and functional reconstruction of the bone tissue.

Augmentation is a procedure for implanting artificial bone. It is necessary for anyone whose alveolar bone volume is not sufficient for implant placement. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is completely painless for the patient. Continuation of therapy, or more precisely, implant placement, is possible only 4-6 months after the surgery.

In the event that the sinuses are lowered and there is not enough bone to install the implant, a sinus lift should be performed in the upper jaw. The goal of the procedure is to fill the sinus cavity with biomaterial that will ossify over time and create favorable conditions for future implants. The sinus function and the patient's health will not be impaired after the intervention.
